Puppy Purchase Agreement/Health Contract
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $800.00 to $1500.00 is required with this Agreement. Deposit amount will depend on the total selling price of the puppy. The balance is due at 6 weeks of age or upon delivery and possession by the Buyer if puppy is old enough to go home. The puppy and the right of registration under this Agreement remains with the Seller until full payment has been made by the Buyer. All puppies are sold as pets unless otherwise agreed upon by the seller.
This Bulldog puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase and has his/her age appropriate puppy shots and worming. Buyer is required to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian (at Buyers expense) within 72 hours of the purchase and/or possession of the puppy and send a copy of the vet report to Seller. All terms of this sale are final after the 72 hour period. Failure to have the puppy examined within 72 hours VOIDS this Agreement. Illnesses acquired after the 72 hour period are not covered under this Agreement. If the veterinarian finds the puppy to have a life threatening issue, a certified report from the examining veterinarian must be presented to Seller immediately. The Buyer may then elect to return the puppy to Seller within the 72 hour period and receive a full refund minus the deposit or, return the puppy and receive credit towards the purchase of another puppy of equal value. Buyer may select from others currently available or from succeeding litters of the Seller. Under no circumstances will any veterinarian expenses, quarantine, legal expenses, freight and/or shipping charges, etc. be paid by the Seller.
Seller guarantees this puppy until he/she is one year of age against any life threatening congenital defects. This Agreement does not include conditions brought on by stress or environmental changes after the puppy leaves Seller. Therefore, Seller does not guarantee against hypoglycemia, coccidia or internal parasites. Seller will not be responsible for parvo, distemper or corona virus after 48 hours as these diseases can be contracted immediately after leaving Seller. Buyer has researched and is knowledgeable of the following conditions that are not covered in this congenital or hereditary health guarantee; demodectic mange, cherry eye, entropion, loose hips, skin allergies, bacterial or viral infections, elongated soft palette and nasal snares. Also not covered are minor breed related, treatable or correctable conditions, or any condition that may dissipate, which are considered to be conditions which a puppy will likely outgrow. Seller does not guarantee common problems that are preventable/treatable/manageable by medication and/or surgery and are not considered life threatening congenital defects.
This Agreement does not cover any growth and/or nutrition related problems such as carpal deformities, etc. No warranties or guarantees apply to health related problems caused by Buyer’s care, nor any accident or illness not contracted before delivery or possession.

There are no guarantees, expressed or otherwise implied, as to the breeding quality of this puppy. Seller cannot guarantee that any male puppy sold will have two testicles. If the dog is unable to breed for any reason Seller is not responsible and cannot guarantee the fertility of a male or female puppy. No guarantee is made as to size, color, quality, disposition or fertility.
Seller states that the puppy being purchased is a happy and well adjusted puppy and in no way guarantees the temperament of this puppy. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to continue to properly socialize and train their new puppy.
Buyer agrees and binds themselves to take good and reasonable care of the puppy; feed and house properly; and promptly give and secure the best attention to the physical welfare. Buyer agrees to continue to keep the puppy current on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention as well as to give proper flea/tick treatment throughout the life of the puppy.
Buyer agrees to keep “Blue Sky’s” as the beginning of the AKC registered name for the life of this dog/puppy.
This Agreement is valid only for the original Buyer and puppy and is non transferable. No other terms shall apply to this Agreement.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understand and agree to all terms of this Agreement and will abide by it fully. This signed Agreement is required before the puppy will be released…no exceptions.
